Seeking Solutions

 

Once our needs were defined, we considered potential solutions.  We retained a consultant to conduct a professional feasibility and planning study to determine what parishioners would support.  As clearly stated, the parishioners completely support the need for greater space.
 
Eighty parishioners participated in this comprehensive study prioritizing projects and indicating their support.  The study clearly showed overwhelming support for a reasonable campaign to address the needs.  Many participants also indicated a willingness to serve on a leadership team to assure success.

Property adjacent to our parking lot became available and we explored the option of purchasing it for the long-term benefit of the parish.  We determined that the parish would benefit more by developing our existing property.  We hired an architect to translate our ideas into a concept that would respect governmental restrictions and be within our capacity to raise the funds to pay for the project without incurring long-term debt.
