FUTURE GOALS
While I’m proud of the work we have done, I think we need to work even harder to focus on the following areas in the coming years.
Economic Growth
Strong economic growth is the key to keeping taxes low and providing good paying jobs to our residents. I will continue working hard to recruit new industry and businesses as well as expanding our housing market to attract families to Loudon County.
Support Emergency Services
The safety and security of Loudon Countians is of utmost importance. Providing the necessary resources for our Sheriff’s Department, Fire and Rescue Squads, Emergency Management Service and E-911 is crucial and I will work with these departments to ensure we are providing the best protection we can.
Opioid Epidemic
This epidemic is one of the biggest problems facing Loudon County, and the entire country. It impacts our law enforcement, jails, education system, and workforce. Most importantly, it impacts the health and well-being of our families. Government cannot solve this issue alone. As Mayor, I will work with all the stakeholders in our community to make sure we are on the cutting edge of fighting this epidemic.
Education and Workforce Development
The education of our children is a top priority of mine. Whether they want to go on to college or enter the workforce, the education and preparation of our young people is key to their success. I will continue to be an advocate for our education system to ensure they receive the best possible opportunities.
Honesty and Transparency
Honesty and integrity should be the cornerstone of our community and our local government. I’m proud of my record and will continue to represent you in a trustworthy manner. As your Mayor, I will work to ensure you are provided with a transparent county government that works for you.
